A Family in christ
ICYO is a Catholic Youth Organisation (Mudika in Bahasa Indonesia) Based in Perth, Western Australia.
ICYO (Indonesian Catholic Youth Organisation) was formed in 1992. The idea came from a group of parents, Indonesian priests and other young people to create a organisation to cater for the spiritual needs of the youths studying abroad who have the same faith.
a glimpse of activities we've done so far
For over 25 years since its inception, ICYO has came up with countless of activities to cater its growing member. Apart from annual events in which people are really familiar with such as charity concerts, sports camp and retreat; ICYO always come up with creative ideas to engage young people in Christ to gather and meet new friends.
For over a decade, ICYO Nite has been our trademark event where all members can meet and have a great night together.
It is held in every month on every other Friday and surely will entertain our community with life lessons, laughter and the meeting of new friends. Come join the fun!

As a catholic organisation, we actively encourage our members to strengthen their faith and their belief in God. We hold numerous activities periodically which include rosary prayers, fellowships and taize. With or without the parish priest or guest speaker, these activities draw a high level of interest from the audience. Look forward to our annual retreat! They are always based on an interesting topic which suit the youth of today.
We are aware that faith without deeds is not enough. Hence, we strive to contribute to the society we live in. As Mother Teresa said, “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”
We relentlessly support our community through activities such as Australian Red Cross Blood donations, participating in World Vision’s 40 hours of famine and Christmas carolling in nursing homes.
Come join us in singing and glorifying our God in our weekly masses, weddings and charity concerts! Practice usually takes place at Pater Noster Church every Monday & Wednesday. Please contact our music department for further information.
PS: feel terrible at singing? No worries, we are always on the search for an accompanist or other musical talents!
